Next to our playground, there is a tranquil pond with a walking path that is half of a mile long. This beautiful setting is a great place for our students to learn and move with a few additions. By adding benches, students will have a place for self-regulation and collaboration with other students, classes and schools. We will fill the little free libraries with books to support K-5 curriculum and an overall love for reading. Benches and Little Free Libraries will give our students a place to collaborate, connect, learn and grow. Please consider donating to help us purchase benches and book bins to surround the pond. Then, we can fully utilize nature as an outdoor classroom for our students and teachers.
