Our school libraries have little to no books in the languages that my English Language Learners speak. In order to increase their talents in reading in their native languages, my students need books that they can read by themselves, with their families, and share with their English Only classmates. The multi-lingual books this project will provide will bring excitement and pride to my English Language Learners who will be able to share the world with their classmates and families. Students will have the opportunity to borrow the bilingual books for classroom or home use, increasing their reading skills as well as motivating English Only speakers to perhaps learn a new language!

About my class
