I plan to use tablets as a part of my math centers so that students can work on mental calculation and word problems at their own pace. Students will have a daily access to the tablets. We will mainly use the french app « matheros » which offers a personalized learning plan for each student according to their own needs and strengths.  I started implementing small group math teaching and math centers in my classroom to reach every student needs. The tablets will allow the students to have access to online math calculation and word problems solving centers. I think using the app « matheros » will really allow the students to be more engaged in learning thanks to the increasing difficulty of exercises which offers both confidence and challenge to the students. They will get an immediate feedback on their work and will be able to understand their mistakes which is determining for making progress. The app will allow the students to keep track of their progress and keep them fully motivated. Students will have access to the tablets almost every day so that they can really improve their performance along the year.
