In order to promote literacy in distant learning, every students will need their own book at home. I currently have a class set of 35, but I have 65 total students this year. Due to distant learning, every student will need to have a copy. It is important to get books in the hands of our students. Our class will be reading Malala to investigate the importance of civic virtue. We will use Malala as a person who embodies a lot of these virtues. We will also look at the importance of social justice and learn how Malala lead by action to achieve this.
