Technology plays an important role in the learning experience. Many of the resources that we use are on the Chromebook which helps to keep the students engaged in learning. This helps to see where the students are in the learning process and gives me the opportunity to check data on how they are doing. During the school day we do a lot of writing, reading, and hands-on activities. After this occurs, there are assignments that they can turn to on the Chromebook to check how they are doing with the lesson on an independent level. This is a great tool for helping the students to succeed. If you’ve got ears say cheer! To help them be more successful on their Chromebooks they need to hear what is being said. For the kindergarteners, the resources that are used read to them and help them to stay on track with what is going on. This is why I know the students would love to get their own pair of headphones that will be just for them. Students who can hear their own computers and not all the noise in the room can focus more on their own success.
