The Let's Find Out magazines that are published by Scholastic are an excellent way to get Kindergarten students excited about reading. This age group is just learning to read, and the repetitive nature of the text in these weekly resources is an excellent way to review sight words in informational text. Children are drawn to non fiction literature. They love to ask questions and be able to find answers. The regular use of "Let's Find Out" magazine not only promotes reading, but promotes vocabulary and scientific processes as well. It is an engaging way to read to learn, and is supported by digital resources that can be used in the classroom to promote engagement from each student. I love this magazine and know the value that it adds to the classroom setting.
