This dry erase table would make it easier for students to be able to use manipulatives at the same time as showing their thinking on the dry erase table. It is hard to have dry erase boards out with the manipulatives at the same time. The table would allow us to have more space for the manipulatives by cutting out the need for the dry erase boards. It is important to see the students' thinking and reasoning behind the math. When students are excited about doing math, they are more willing to take risks. Students would be excited to be able to use the dry erase table and have extra space to use the manipulatives at the same time. It is difficult for my students to keep their materials all organized in front of them. A dry erase table would eliminate one of the issues that can be frustrating for my students so they can truly focus on the manipulatives and math in front of them.
