Many of my students excel when scientific material is presented in multiple formats. All students enjoy hands-on models, but many struggling learners need to "see" the material they are learning. With this model, I can lead students in class discussions while providing enrichment for a commonly misunderstood 8th grade science topics. We all see the moon, but few understand the moon. With this model, I will be able to enhance all students experience with this key topic. Students will increase in content mastery and interest. This model will be shared with all 8th grade teachers and have an impact for many years!
