These kits will allow me to teach my student how to suture patients in real life. There are a variety of health care jobs that involve knowing how to suture properly. These jobs are limited to surgeons; nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians' assists and anesthesiologists all need to possess this vital skill. Besides teaching the student a practical skill that they can use in their future career, I am also teaching them something that will be new and exciting. Keeping students excited about a class is as much of a challenge as anything else. Excitement drives students to be more involved, ask questions, and seek further information. It is the cornerstone of any productive class.

About my class
