Literacy is extremely important and it is more than reading a paperback or writing a good story with a pencil or pen. We are moving towards broadening our perspective on the world and not just live within our general location. Many of my students mentioned that they have not traveled out of state or out of the country, yet we read texts from all over the world. My students deserve a high quality and global education. They will be able to connect to our texts through projects and research. The laptops will be used for research writing and exploring the different cultures that we read about in class.

About my class
