Within the club the students are learning critical thinking, collaboration, and how to follow directions. This LEGO activity will give my students a hands on project that will build confidence by reaching a common goal. Since beginning Star Wars Club, the number one request students have made is to have LEGOs so they could build what they see in the movies. Being able to provide this activity for my students will give some the opportunity to have an item they wouldn't otherwise afford. Students will not only be excited about building an AT-AT Walker, but will be using hands on learning to accomplish it.
