I am requesting graphing calculators for my classroom. Students will use these to complete more hands-on activities. Students will be able to connect some real world problems to what they are actually learning and see it come to life on the calculators. The use of the calculators will enhance the technological ability of the students. In order to compete on a national level, my students will use the calculators to help with math competitions and advance math study. I want my students to feel confident about their math skills when they leave the classroom. Learning how to use the TI-84 calculators will give them the added boost needed.
