I am excited to have another way to provide my little learners with the opportunity to hear their favorite stories over and over! My students already have a love for reading that I want to continue to nurture by giving them as many chances to listen to great literature as I can! I believe that by having a mobile listening center in my classroom, students will have yet another way during our day to listen to books on CD's, explore new vocabulary in the context of stories, and enjoy looking at pictures as they listen to the story and follow along in their own books. By donating to this project, you will be helping to enrich their lives with literature! Our school has a very high population of English Language Learners, and every extra opportunity for them to hear English being spoken helps to develop their own English more! The listening center, CD player, headphones, and stories will allow them to independently enjoy stories more often in our classroom!

About my class
