I would like to add flexible seating as an option in my reading groups. This will give students an opportunity to choose a wobbly stool while reading, which will meet the needs of many of my students. Wobbly stools allow kids the movement they need while focusing on learning new skills. I envision using the stools at my reading table for all my reading groups. This will allow every student in my class the opportunity to utilize the wobbly stools while learning. I think this will help the students be more engaged during the reading groups. Having movement will allow kids to be kids, while learning. It will make the classroom a more inviting and fun place to learn.
