The books that I am requesting will enhance student learning and understanding of key writing components. They are colorful and exciting books that will keep the students interested and engaged in their learning. By providing many examples of clever writing, it will encourage students to take risks with their work and go beyond what they thought they could do. In order to become a better writer, it is crucial for students to have mentor texts and read examples of writing daily. Offering students flexible seating is another great way to support them. It helps them to get out of their seats​ and work in a different area of the room. Just a change of seat and scenery can, in many instances, improve their focus and attention on the task at hand.
