WHE is using guided reading to instruct all of our K-2 students on their instructional reading level. A large number of leveled book sets have been purchased for teachers to use during instruction, as well as for students to practice reading at their independent level. The book bins would be used to organize sets by level so that teachers and students can easily select the right books for their lesson or independent reading. We currently do not have a way to store and display the books so that students can utilize them on a daily basis. By funding this project, these books would be more accessible to all!
