The materials and supplies I am requesting for my students will help to enhance their reading and writing abilities in many ways. The Hot Dots materials will be used inside and outside of the classroom throughout the school year. My students have deficiencies in different areas of literacy. These resources will be used to differentiate instruction by allowing students to practice on the specific areas they need help in. Students will also be able to use this resource at home for additional practice and support. The instant feedback provided will help the students and also provide assistance to any parents who may struggle with helping their child read.
These resources will promote self-awareness in literacy, encourage confidence, and build reading independence.
The pencil sharpener and pencils will be used throughout the school year as we work on improving our penmanship, written communication skills, computing math problems, and much more. The scissors and crayon will be used to create and perform hands-on activities that will promote learning in meaningful and exciting ways. The Post-it chart paper will be used to create visuals such as Thinking Maps and Anchor Charts to help students understand various skills in different subject areas. The ink will be used to print materials that will benefit my students as they continue learning.
