The serger machine and sewing machine would be valuable assets to have in my classroom for my students. I teach at a Title I school where 100% of the students get free lunches, so therefore most of the students do not have access to these types of things at home. How cool would it be to for them to make their very own face mask to wear around the school. They would learn how to sew to make a pillow, face mask, a scarf, drawstring bag, and many more things that they could use at school or at home.
