The backpack food program helps to bridge the gap for students that do not have food at home on the weekends. These students typically rely on breakfast and lunch at school Monday through Friday and don’t always have access to healthy nutritious foods on the weekend. The backpack food program sends home food in the backpacks of the students each Friday afternoon to help them make it through to Monday morning breakfast. With local donors and families, we can use resources such as this to provide food for each weekend. Only $3.50 pays for each bag of weekend food! By providing weekend food, students can focus on learning...not basic needs at home and at school. Help us to supply the needs of our students each weekend to support the Backpack Program providing donations to purchase food that can be sent home each Friday with our students! Thanks
