Snack time is a crucial time during the day for young learners, especially Kindergartners. I noticed that some students were not bringing a snack to eat during this time in the day. My students come from low-income families and attend a Title I school. I hope to provide ALL my students with a snack, that way, every student feels a sense of inclusion by having snack provided to them! This will also help me as a teacher because I will be able to spend my money on other school supplies that will benefit my students' learning experiences in the classroom!
