These rugs will help students have a spot to sit on. They come to the rug during a lesson, story time and when we sit on a circle. The students have a difficult time sitting down because there is not a rug to sit on. They don't have rug spots, instead they use mats to sit on the floor. The rugs will give the classroom more life with the colors. The students would love to sit on the rug because they would be able to see the smart board better. I also sit on the floor when I need to work with a group of students. They love when I sit with them. Each student needs a rug spot to know where to sit on the rug. As a teacher it is better when they are all on the rug because we come together as a family. It is difficult not to have a rug in the classroom because the students are not sure where they sit. Students love to come to the rug to read a book. They are able to sit on a rug and read the book of their choice.
