Children learn best with hands-on experiences and that's exactly what these materials will provide for our room. Little ones try to make sense of the world around them by exploring and using their senses. Our classroom loves spending time playing in sand, water, and other sensory materials, It is easily the one area of our room that every child gravitates towards. These materials will help encourage sensory play in the classroom which supports language development, cognitive growth, fine and gross motor skills, problem-solving skills, and social interaction. These types of play have been proven to help aid in developing and enhancing memory, encourages scientific processes by using and stimulated the five senses, and are also great for calming an anxious or frustrated child.
