The materials listed will help support each of my T-K through 3rd grade students access sensory regulation tools which will help increase availability to learning in the classroom and on the playground. These materials will be implemented throughout the school day through a structured schedule, proactively to teach and encourage self regulation. By allowing sensory regulation to be learned at a young age, students will be able to better manage their sensory needs appropriately in a classroom setting, which translates to both home and community settings. Sensory regulation is important to help create and maintain independence throughout childhood and adulthood for those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
