Kindergarten children are inquisitive. It is so vital to capture their inquisitive nature early and develop a love of learning. I believe children learn best through play. My classroom is centered around developing knowledge through stations. Giving these students an engaging center will heighten their interest and motivation. Creating an environment that is fun, educational, and supportive will help these children grow socially, emotionally, and academically. This impact will influence how these children view themselves as learners. With your help, I can give these children the same experience as more affluent towns have, increase their excitement for learning, and use the material to differentiate learning. These materials would be used for sensory play as well as learning foundational skills in language arts and math. Please help me light up their precious faces.
