The books will be a good way to teach my guidance lessons to all of school, and they will be good resources for my students to read when they go to my room. I could use the play dough, the games, and fidget toys to help students deescalate when they are upset. It would also be a good distraction to help them talk about what it is that is upsetting them. I would use the lamp to mellow my room from the bright florescent lights. My office will be a safe room with many things to help deescalate them.
