In Physics, students look forward to our hands-on, creative engineering projects! During our Motion Unit, students will use colored pencils & markers to create flip books. For our Energy Unit, they will work in teams to design and build roller coasters using the foam tubing. In our Electricity Unit, students will research a scientist of color and create a light-up art piece to honor them, using craft supplies along with LEDs, copper tape, and coin batteries. To end the year, students will engineer speakers using recycled materials, aux cords, and adapters. A bookcase and bins will help keep all of these exciting materials organized and accessible for students. All of these materials will help students create projects they are proud of, as they fully express their creativity and demonstrate their learning. Please help my students have an organized classroom with access to all of the materials they need to succeed and engage in learning science!
