We'd like to have stools for small group seating and literacy centers. Our classroom chairs are very bulky and hard to move across the room. I have a large kidney table with 4 chairs at it but the school needs the chairs back. So the students will need to start bringing their chairs to small group instruction- which will not be good use of our instructional time together. Also, our students write a lot throughout the day. We use our erasers a lot! Already our pencils have no erasers and we've started using single erasers. Magnetic letters in primary grades are so important! We use them during small group instruction and literacy centers. My unit came with no magnetic letters. Our class could really benefit from having a few sets of them so students could use them during literacy centers to build sight words and words we segment and blend during small group instruction.
