My students all have multiple handicaps--both physical and mental, and some emotional. Some cannot speak, and some have trouble walking. Some cannot hop, others cannot jump with both feet at the same time, or catch a ball. But all of them respond to music and will engage in activities when music is playing. They will try to limbo, play hopscotch, bounce balls, and dance--actions that are challenging to them. If they can learn to do these things, then they can play with other students and with their family members.

About my class
