Teaching teenagers requires active engagement! Our students have access to grant-funded MacBooks, but the desktops in our classrooms are at least 15 years old. Although my classroom is equipped with a SmartBoard, the computer and software are too outdated to comply. A classroom MacBook would simplify my instruction process and allow for easier sharing opportunities for my students. I enjoy playing interactive review games such as Kahoot, etc.,as well as showing video clips of speeches or commercials to analyze rhetorical devices. This device would also permit students to effectively share their group video projects without having to hook up personal computers, speakers, and other attachments.
