The iPad minis will complete the learning center that I created for my students last year. The Ogden School Foundation generously gave me a grant to purchase Osmos for my kindergarten class. I allowed my students to use my personal iPads and I was so thrilled by their response to the Osmo! My students were eager to do number activities, spelling activities, tangram puzzles and they especially loved creating their own stories with the Osmo Monster! They were so engaged in the activities in the Osmo center and all the while they were practicing many of the things I was teaching in my classroom! I like having two students in each center because they love to share what they are doing! I hope to be able to receive funding to purchase two iPad minis so that I can complete the center without having to remember to bring my iPad to school for the children to use.
