A reading center is a fundamental step in a classroom to assist the children in their reading trajectory. My project is to get these 6 and 7 year old students reading. They will be reading to themselves, reading to each other, and listening to reading. We will also be working on learning how to choose just the right book and how to understand what we read. My vision is to build such a love for reading in these students so they can share, dream, travel, and live all through the pages of books! Books create a gateway to be anyone you can dream/read about being. Reading is exercise to our brains like the treadmill is exercise to our heart.

About my class
