This female focused coding club is a program to spark our fifth grade girl's interest in technology, and to develop this interest into mastering problem-solving strategies, critical thinking, and programming skills. During our after school club we will offer a variety of activities in the areas of Science, Engineering and Technology to develop an understanding of inquiry, coding languages, machines, structures, and analytical skills. This experience will provide our students with more strategies, enthusiasm, and experiences in the area of science and technology. This will prepare them for future educational endeavors, and it will help them to participate as adults in our technology focused society.

About my class
