My students love to learn using math manipulatives and real world examples to experiment with math. Our goal is to give our students the opportunity to learn measurement and geometry using hands on and STEM learning activities. First, students will design their prospective buildings. Next, students will begin to build their buildings that they designed with their teammates. Once the students build their structures, they will measure the length, width, and height of their buildings. Lastly, the students will then calculate the perimeter, area, and volume of their LEGO creations.
