My students will be able to work in small groups cooperatively and experience hands on learning in a fun, engaging, and unique way. These items will help support our new STEM lessons and make hands on learning more meaningful. The LEGO bricks will be useful in two ways, one for Math in which students work in small groups to count collections to help solidify their counting cardinality as well further their numbers sense up to 150. Also, the LEGO bricks will be used in math centers to foster creativity, cooperative learning, and out-of-the-box thinking to make their own projects.
