Many of the calculators my students have to use are old or broken. Sometimes, we do not have enough to go around when sharing with other teachers. I would like these calculators for my students to give them the opportunity to learn math with less anxiety. Having a calculator that will perform all the operations they need (fractions, absolute value, etc) and seeing it the same way on the calculator as on the paper would take away some of the anxiety. The graphing features of these calculators help students see a visual of the equation and help them solve various equations. Students use the features or characteristics of the graph to help solve a problem without having to graph the problem on graph paper.
