Some of my students have visual impairments and would benefit more from using the iPad. Due to gross motor delays some of my students are unable to manipulate the mouse and keyboard and benefit from an iPads touchscreen. Different apps such as epic books, tracing apps and iReady can help my students work toward their goals. The iPad is used as a good reward system for reinforcing positive behaviors in the classroom. Some of these games that the students could work for could be coolmath, abcya, Starfall and PBSKIDS. My students would love to receive an iPad to help them meet their academic and behavioral goals!
