This project will give students a break from the computer screens they are forced to be on daily. The book will open the door to their imaginations. A brief escape to another time period. My students love to learn about history. They also love to learn about different cultures. This gives them a chance to learn about U.S history. The story also models what motivation and endurance is. These current times can cause every students to get weary. My goal is to show them there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Even if you have to create the light.
