These books will help my third graders stay motivated and interested in good literature. We need series that are popular and age-appropriate. The kids have gone through a lot of trauma recently, yet they are resilient, thoughtful, and carrying. They work hard and like to be challenged. The books will be used in the classroom as part of the independent reading time block and throughout the day when kids are done with an assignment. We still need a solid leveled classroom library to work on essential skills but these books will hook them on reading! Indeed, they are the coolest third graders on the block!
