By receiving the items on our wish list, our classroom will become more inviting and comfortable as my students are working on their reading and writing skills. Many of my students benefit from choosing where to complete their assignments. Having standing desks and wiggly chairs help maintain focus for my active learners. Incorporating the various types of seats and movement options, along with an easel to display current learning targets and anchor charts, our luxury literacy lounge will equip my readers and writers with the tools they need to be more successful. Offering the incentive of choice in a workspace has shown to get my students more motivated to complete tasks build endurance in their reading.
