These materials will make a difference with my students by giving them a safe, healthy way to release and process their big emotions. By having a bop bag, for example, my students will be able to channel their big emotions to the bag instead of their peers and/or an adult staff member. The other materials in my project will show my students alternative strategies for self-regulation. My students will achieve success with managing their emotions by learning to self-regulate when using bubbles for deep breathing and fidget toys in the Reset Room.
