I am hoping to get a new Scoop Ball set and Lacrosse sticks. Scoop ball is an excellent bridge to the sport of Lacrosse for the students in kindergarten through second grade while the sticks will be primarily used in third through fifth grade. This will also directly satisfy requirements for the Ohio state Physical Education standards where I am currently lacking. Lacrosse is a sport that my students have little to no exposure and is also important to where we have a rich Native American local history. This will serve to greatly enrich my curriculum and bring a new facet of learning to my students. I want the most well rounded classroom as possible and this project will help me to do so.
