Science is immersive for my students. This project will give my students the opportunity to learn about the microscope and how to use it. Students can explore why investigation is important and what similarities and differences occur among specimens. Hands-on activities with real-world tools will allow my students a chance to properly use microscopes and develop questions that will deepen their understanding of natural specimens. Allowing students to work in this way assists them in their current classes and in future classes. Using real microscopes, petri dishes, forceps, microscope slides and cover slips are excellent ways to deepen and enhance theirs skills and knowledge.
