In my third grade class we use a lot of technology to differentiate and engage students. I understand that we all learn in different ways and my goal is to make sure all students are learning the same content, although it may be differently than others. I was fortunate enough this year to get a classroom set of iPads from our librarian. Each student has an iPad assigned to them in which I've installed apps we use in class. As of now, not all students have access to good quality headphones, which makes it hard for some to concentrate when there are so many different sounds being heard around the room. Receiving these headphones would really help my students become more engaged with what's in front of them and block out distractions from the other devices around them.
