These books will provide my students with intellectual disability and autism a classroom library that is age appropriate and accessible given their reading levels. These books will compliment the phonics program we do, and provide my students with high quality literature that they are able to read with confidence. My students will find these books engaging and relevant. They will serve as part of our reading intervention by providing students with independent reading materials. These books will also serve as part of our curriculum for their work in the regular education classroom. This will help my students continue developing their reading skills and help foster a love of reading.
