We are faced with the current Pandemic that plagues our world and has forced school shutdowns resulting in students all over the country to have to learn from home. My students, who are with special needs are struggling to find a balance. While their distant learning is important for their academic learning, their occupational therapy intervention is also of great importance. The challenges my students are faced with including sensory needs make it difficult for them to have a successful distance learning experience. In order to provide the much-needed interventions to my students, they need materials and a variety of manipulative to get these done.
