All of our students are learning science from home at this time. Due to the hybrid scheduling of our district, our students are not able to participate in science specifically in the classroom. The science standards are still taught but we need to get creative with our technology! Science learning at our school normally would be creating slides and studying cells using a microscope in the classroom, however, due to COVID, and the potential to spread disease, we are not able to do this. With this microscope we will still be able to show the students what cells look like and will still be able to give them the experience even if they aren't able to touch the microscope themselves. They can see exactly what the slides they have created contain and can use that information to further expand their knowledge and desire to study organisms.
