In our Kindergarten Classroom, we complete "Mad Science Friday" projects on a weekly basis. Within these projects, my students complete science experiments, making their own hypotheses and exploring the outcomes. As an extension of Mad Science Friday, we begin completing "Foodie Fun Fridays", where we explore creativity within the area of food! After completion of a Foodie Fun Friday training, I would like to introduce and provide my students with kitchen supplies in order to have a space in our classroom where students can create and learn! Also, I attended a training entitled, "EntreEd", where I learned how to teach business skills to my students. Through this Foodie Fun Friday project, I would like for my students to brainstorm how to create their own business, selling food and raising money for specific causes.
