By providing my students with personal hygiene kits, it will allow them to practice self-care and properly manage their hygiene. With bullying being a major concern within our community, our students could greatly benefit from having personal hygiene kits, as many of these items may not be readily available to them within their homes. These items will make a difference by providing the students with access to proper hygiene and aid in positive self-esteem​. The students will be able to feel good about their selves and decrease and or eliminate possible bullying because of poor hygiene. The hygiene kits will be used in addition to classroom guidance on proper hygiene.
