A Gemini Battery-Powered Speaker will be used in daily class time, after-school rehearsals, and performances. Because this speaker is equipped with Bluetooth, I will be able to connect my iPad or iPhone to the speaker to play tracks with warm-up exercises or accompaniment. With the music playing through the speaker, I will be able to conduct the students instead of being stuck behind a piano. The wheels make the speaker easily portable for performance opportunities as well as off-campus events such as performing at our elementary school feeders. Students may also take the speaker into a practice room to work individually or with a partner when I'm working with another section of the choir to promote individual learning. Ultimately, the Gemini Battery-Powered Speaker will increase the speed and effectiveness of learning music, and improve performance opportunities.
