Five second grade classes are wanting to take a trip to The Living Desert. We have over one hundred students who are spunky and ready to learn more about animals and their habitats. Our students would greatly benefit from seeing animals in their habitats rather than only on the pages of a textbook or pictures online. Many of our students have not had the opportunity to visit a zoo, or an animal sanctuary. This project will cover the cost of our students taking a field trip to The Living Desert! The benefit of learning outside of the classroom allows students to become more passionate about the topics they are learning in a school environment. Students become excited when they see animals they studied in class, and love to share what they have learned!

About my class
